What is the best 4x4 upgrade for off-road travels?

Are diff breathers necessary?
Yes, especially if you often drive through water. Diff breathers protect the differentials which are responsible for keeping gears and bearings lubricated. Hot air is released through the hose when the underbody soaks into the water—preventing components from shrinking or wearing out.
